Alabama's Capitol City, Montgomery offers a wealth of historic and cultural attractions to keep everyone entertained and coming back for more. Montgomery is the location of the historic Montgomery Bus Boycot, the key to the start of the Civil Rights movement. It is also the final resting place of country singing legend Hank Williams.

First Whitehouse of the Confederacy
The original `White House` is located in downtown Montgomery across from the State Capitol. In the late 1800s when Montgomery was the capitol fo the Confederacy, this original 1835 Italianate-style house was home to President and Mrs. Jefferson Davis. The home is completely furnished with period pieces from 1850s and 1860. [details]
